Graduate Profile

Caroline Race
Masters in Applied Psychology (Organisational)
Value of the Program
Completing my B Psych and subsequent Masters in Applied Psychology (Organisational)
in 2002 was similar to experiencing a personal metamorphism. Utilising ones
own life experiences in conjunction with six years of academic challenges one
suddenly found themselves blossoming as a Registered Psychologist. The time
at Murdoch provided a valuable rich tapestry in which support, ideas and guidance
never ceased.
Having worked within telecommunications as Human Resources Advisor in addition
to the oil and gas as Operations Coordinator one finds that position titles
may vary yet the expectations remain constant. Organisational development, team
building, recruitment, process evaluation and implementation are all common
dependent variables that yield significant non-stop rewards. Although in many
ways the final professional hurdle has been attained, one still draws from the
academic theories to develop a further wealth of knowledge and experience towards
a satisfying career.
