Referrals

People from the community can refer themselves to the Clinic.
Advertisements are placed in some local newspapers - usually in February and later in the year if necessary - however referrals can be made at any time during the period that the Clinic is open.

New referrals are not usually taken beyond mid-October as the Clinic closes at the end of November.

Referrals are also received from health professionals such as GPs, school, psychologists, mental health clinics, and psychologists in private practice.
If you are a health professional referring a client to the Clinic, a brief report on the client's situation would be appreciated. Reports or letters should be addressed to:

There can often be a wait list, but the Clinic Administrative Assistant keeps those on the wait list informed about the situation and provides information about alternative sources of assistance.
