It helps to have someone to talk with

Caladenia House is the home of the Godfrey Barrett-Lennard Cousellor Training Centre. This is a place where children can talk about things that are troubling them such as problems with children, bullying, family issues, feeling sad or angry too much of the time.

Your counsellor will be interested in how you are feeling. They will talk with you about what's going on and how you want to handle things. Your counsellor will also talk with your parent/s. In your session you might draw, play, act or paint to help you understand your story.

Young people who attend our Counselling Training Centre are seen by postgraduate students supervised by qualified counselling staff.
