LAUNCH OF A NEW WEBSITE"TRANSITIONS:MOVING FORWARD WITH YOUR TEENAGE CHILD"

On Wednesday 27 October 2004 the website 'Transitions: Moving forward with your teeenage child' was launched by Professor Fiona Stanley at the invitation of Kalparrin, Parents of Children with Disabilities. The website is a resource for parents and carers negotiating the transition from child to youth to adulthood with physical or intellectual disabilities. The project was funded for 1 year for $24,420 by the Disabilities Services Commission in conjunction with the Centre for Social and Community Research. Dr Pia Broderick was the project manager, Associate Professor Mark Rapley the principal consultant and Dr Dierdre Davies was the project manager and consultant
