Employment opportunities in psychology

Psychologists tend to specialise in an area such as developmental, clinical and industrial psychology, and can be providers to individuals or to organisations. They may also pursue research or teaching.

Jobs with a 3 year degree

Graduates with a 3 year BA Psychology degree may find work in:

advertising and marketing, broadcasting, community agencies and administration, defence forces, education, human resources, insurance, intelligence analysis, journalism, law enforcement, legal industry, libraries and archives, media, medical ethics and administration, politics, private sector, public relations, research, state and commonwealth public sector, trade unions, travel and tourism.

Jobs with a 4 year degree

With the 4 year degree and either 2 years supervised work experience or a 2 year masters degree  you may undertake careers in any of the areas available with a 4 year degree
