Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling(GradCertCounsel) Course Code - C1071The Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling is a 1-year part-time postgraduate program that provides students with the opportunity to begin developing professional competence and personal readiness for a career in counselling. The program is committed to experiential learning, enabling students to focus on quality of counselling relationships as a key feature of effective counselling practice. Qualification: Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling (PgCertCounsel) Location: Murdoch campus (internal) & some units are conducted at Caladenia House. Duration: 1 to 2 years, part-time only Employment prospect : Employment in this large occupation (17,300 in February) rose moderately in the past five years, and rose strongly in the long term (ten years); and the vacancy level for counsellors is moderate. Admissions requirements : Recognised Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent training in any discipline. The admission process includes both application and interview.
