Closing dates for Applications
Applications for entry to a coursework program close on the last Friday of October.
Applications for research degree scholarships close on 31st October each year. For details on admission deadlines, contact the Graduate Centre

It is expected that initial offers of places will be made in late December. The academic year begins towards the end of February.

POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

Australian Postgraduate Awards (APA) and Murdoch University Research Studentships (MURS) are available to full- time Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Philosophy candidates. Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or have permanent resident status. The basic stipend payable under an APA is $18,837 p.a. (2005 rates). The stipend payable under the MURS is $17,810 p.a(2005 rates). Stipends under both scholarships are non-taxable and may be indexed. Both scholarships may provide re-location allowances. A thesis allowance to a maximum of $840 is also provided under both awards.
