The aim of this study was to investigate the factors involved in attributions of responsibility and behavioural intent towards another persons litter throughout different spaces within local neighbourhoods.  Differences in attributions and intent were explored across the three areas of (respondent’s) yard, the street and the local park.  Socio-demographic variables and attitudes towards litter (ATL), place attachment (PA), and community social responsibility (CSR) scores were assessed for their impact on both responsibility attributions and behavioural intent measures.
