RESEARCH:
My central research interests are cognitive development; intelligence and individual differences; attention and executive function in children; effects of personality and mood states on intellectual performance.

ACTIVITIES:
I am currently involved in a range of research projects including investigations of how children deal with conflicting and irrelevant information; the nature of cognitive difficulties associated with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome; identifying the cognitive processes involved in learning and processing music; the role of individual differences in coping with stress; identifying the mechanisms through which exercise alters mood.
